Slide with Slate.

To honor the memory of a man who meant the world to us, we want to bring awareness to a very important cause. As many of you know, our father fought a brave battle against colon cancer, and though he is no longer with us, his strength, resilience, and love continue to live through us every day.

We have created the second annual "Slate Rock's 5K" not just to run in his memory, but in the spirit of hope, awareness, and determination. We will run to raise our voices, support those who are currently battling this disease, and remind ourselves of the importance of early detection and prevention. Every step we take is a testament to the legacy our dad has left in our hearts and a commitment to helping others facing the same challenges.

We thank you all for your presence and support in our meaningful fight against colon cancer. We hope to see y'all ready to 'Slide with Slate.'
